International Journal of Palliative Nursing, in collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support, is proud to have hosted the IJPN Awards 2013.

For a ninth consecutive year, IJPN worked in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to host the prestigious International Journal of Palliative Nursing Awards, which took place in London on 14 March 2013. The awards were also be made possible by generous sponsorship from CME Medical and TEVA.

The aim of the awards is simply to recognise excellence in palliative care. There is an enormous amount to celebrate, with outstanding work being carried out in all parts of the world, and the submissions we receive are a wonderful demonstration of quality, dedication and innovation in service to patients. The IJPN Awards 2013 were a great opportunity to acknowledge this work and to share good practice with each other.

The awards categories reflect the range of activities and individuals involved in delivering high quality care to patients.
